Giving

"…according to their ability, and beyond their ability, they gave of their own accord" -2 Corinthians 8:3

Why do Christians give?

Scripture tells us that everything we have is a gift from God (1 Chronicles 29:14). Living the gospel of Jesus Christ finds us expressing our gratitude by presenting our 'first fruits' (be they financial, intellectual, physical, or relational) to God in order that they may be used for God's glory and the furthering of His kingdom on earth.

Electronic Donations include Debit and Credit Cards.

Why do we speak of tithes and offerings, what is the difference?

How are tithes and offerings received at Longview EPC? Why do we use offering boxes rather than passing a plate during worship?
